Description
Our unique coding course is designed to develop sequential thinking and imagination - the two core fundamentals of programming.
As children advance through levels of increasing difficulty, they are challenged to think creatively and critically. They not only learn to create instructions but also begin to design their own coding problems, which enhances their understanding of coding principles. This gradual increase in complexity ensures they build a strong foundation in coding while fostering independence and confidence in their abilities. Alongside coding skills, they also develop important cognitive skills like pattern recognition, action sequencing, and logical thinking. These skills are not only essential for coding but also translate into other areas of learning and problem-solving.
-
Screen-Fee Coding Tools – Coding is all about being able to build a logical sequence of actions. That is why, our coding course combines the use of computers with screen-free approach to develop sequential thinking. To supplement traditional digital tools, we use real-life problems and hands-on, interactive resources like a robot mouse, which children program to move through various tasks. This tactile learning experience makes coding fun and accessible for young minds, allowing them to understand core concepts. This method encourages active engagement while nurturing a deeper connection to the problem-solving process.
-
Using Imagination to Learn Google Suite – Children will unleash their imagination while getting familiar with Google Docs and Google Slides to create digital art and work on research projects.
-
Coding with Scratch Jr. – As students progress through the course levels, they will be introduced to Scratch Jr., where they will learn to create games and interactive videos.
-
Introduction to Python – Depending on the group progress, students get introduced to Python and code their first application.
-
Teamwork – Teamwork is also a crucial element of our program. Children learn to work together to solve coding challenges, communicate their ideas, and support each other’s learning. By collaborating with their peers, they practice cooperation and develop important social skills in a supportive environment. This combination of hands-on coding, critical thinking, and teamwork helps children build a well-rounded foundation for future success in STEM fields, while also making the learning process enjoyable and interactive.
Our Coding course is packed with hands-on learning, designed to develop critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork—all while having fun!
