Description
Join us for a fun-filled camp where innovation meets play!
Join Launch Hub Learning this summer at our Herndon location for an immersive, hands-on experience that turns screen time into skill-building time. Our integrated curriculum blends engineering, computer science, and "mad scientist" experiments to help kids aged 5+ build the future—one robot at a time.
🔬 The "Launch Hub" Experience
Our camp isn't just about following instructions; it’s about the Engineering Design Process. Using a "quick-to-fail" method inspired by industry leaders like Google, we encourage campers to experiment, learn from mistakes, and iterate on their designs in real-time.
🛠️ What’s on the Daily Menu?
-
Hands-On Robotics: Campers design and build functioning models while exploring physics and mechanics. From structural integrity to motor control, they’ll bring their creative ideas to life.
-
Creative Coding: We bridge the gap between tactile and digital. Our campers will use screen-free coding tools (like our robot mice) to master logical sequencing as well as dive into Scratch to build games and movies.
-
The "Mad Scientist" Lab: Daily science experiments that pop, fizz, and glow! We explore chemistry and biology through interactive, messy, and memorable projects.
-
The Edible Lab (Nutrition & Cooking): Science you can eat! We’ve added a nutrition component where campers explore the chemistry of cooking—including making our own custom pizzas! (Subject to allergy review and safety protocols).
-
Outdoor Play: Brain breaks are essential. Campers have daily access to our secure outdoor playground to stay active and refreshed.
